From 1905-2005 Bidwell Park has been

72 miles of hiking/biking trails, the Chico Nature Center, Bidwell
Mansion, Shakespeare in the Park, the Yahi Trail, One-Mile and Five Mile
swimming areas, and a beautifully kept park, it affords a wonderful
